What is Worship? *
Our Lord speaks and we listen. His Word bestows what it says. The rhythm of our worship is from him to us, and then from us back to him. He gives his gifts, and together we receive and extol them. We build one another up as we speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Our Lord gives us his body to eat and his blood to drink. Finally his blessing moves us out into our calling, where his gifts have their fruition.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
In our worship services our goal is to embrace the traditions of the church while re-presenting them for this present time. These traditions include the church's historic liturgy and hymnody as represented in the LCMS' hymnal, Lutheran Service Book (LSB). We see education as a key to re-presenting these traditions, answering the "why" question in a way that leads to meaningful, Christ-centered worship in Word and Sacrament. We also recognize that God works through his Spirit today to create traditions worthy of being passed on to future generations of the Church. For this reason we carefully incorporate variety in our services through various instrumentation, new hymns and songs, and orders of service.
Holy Communion is celebrated during the service every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of the month.
*** Is there a Divine Service or part of liturgy that you are not acquainted with? Liturgy Audio files are provided on the LCMS website so you may familiarize yourself with the music.

Children In Worship
We believe it is important for families to worship together. Children are able to learn and participate during the worship service as it is modeled by the community around them. The weekly repetition of the liturgy allows children who are not yet literate to recite from memory portions of the service. Children's worship bags are available in the narthex for children to use during the service. They include books focused on the parts of the service and the catechism as well as a children's bulletin that focuses on the Gospel reading for the day. During a designated time children will be invited forward to hear a message prepared specifically for them. A cry room (located just off the narthex) is available if needed.
